    Whether you’ve been a customer for years and paid your past purchases on time and all Paid off, this company will not verify your person if you have identity fraud on your credit. I’ve had to have identity fraud on all three credit reports as of recently, and not thinking on it went ahead to purchase an item of which I’ve purchased through affirm and paid off. (I’ve been an Affirm customer since around 2014). Once I was in the affirm app site, I received a message that I would need to be called and verified due to the identity fraud. I waited for a couple days with no call from Affirm. Though it stated it would call me 1-3 business days on the site. I decided to call thereafter and for three weeks straight spoke to different reps. Each rep would tell me they would call me back once I hung up the call. I never once received a return call. This company was great while I was able to benefit from it, but if you ever have identity fraud at your end, you will not receive the courtesy they state on their site to call you and verify your person over the phone. It’s been a waste of my time trying to connect and they ask me questions to then tell me there going to call and they do not call. I’ve deleted the app because it’s a no-go at my end with this company at this stage. Terrible service.

    And I was right to be skeptical. DONT USE THIS APP‼️‼️‼️I had never used affirm or Afterpay or anything like this before, but I needed some clothes and I used affirm for Shein through SHEIN. I figured since i’m using it to pay off SHEIN, which was not a big order; I would just download affirm and see what it was about. I needed to get my eyes checked, and I went to Sam’s Club and went to Sam’s optical thinking that I could use this for that since Sam’s is supported. And it’s not supported because the eye doctor is independent which is fine I understand. But when I tried to charge the service, it needed a down payment of $65; but because she was independent, affirm declined the transaction. But while they declined the transaction, they still took the $65 from me! Contacted customer support and literally the only thing this “ supervisor” ( which apparently is literally a figure head to appease the masses) could do for me was say sorry. that’s all they offered me was a sorry. They couldn’t give me a reason of why a declined transaction still took money and I still have to wait till next week to get it back.(3-5 business days, but honestly) do not get this app. This was literally my first time using them and once I pay off Shein, I am absolutely deleting it. Save yourself the headache and stupidity.

    I really love the Affirm app, and now that they’ve added the Affirm card it’s even better. I like how your limit changes for different stores, the ability to pay monthly is a god send to me. The absolute only thing i do not like at all, is the in app customer support. I haven’t utilized their support by phone so I cannot speak on that, however, when I’ve contacted support via chat in app the support representatives have been ummm let’s use a nice word, nightmarish to be honest. Half the time they absolutely do NOT understand why you’re even contacting them and give some canned macro response instead of actually reading what you typed and explained in vivid detail regarding the issue. It’s awful i mean for me it has truly been an awful experience. I worked many customer support roles in my life and made my way to CXO, and so I’m all about the omni channel customer experience, and that includes active reading in my case, they don’t listen or they don’t comprehend I’m not sure which, but i feel affirm needs to invest a little more in training their support team I truly mean that in the nicest way possible. I still gave 5 stars because the app is really great, just not the support. Sorry!
