notificationsaccessibilityfeature_requestscross_platform_consistencyI like the ADP app, I’ve had it with different jobs which I’m happy to have worked with having this app, because I can go back years and still be able to see old statements. I have my push notifications on through my iPhone, I’ve been attempting to do the same through the app but unfortunately no settings for notifications. My employer uses ADP for our schedules, and I physically have to go into the app and tap my way into schedules just to be able to see my schedule. It would be so much better if I was to be alerted (while not in the ADP) by notifications screen on my iPhone. PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE!! I only get alerted for my paystub being available and I would much rather prefer an alert for a new posted schedule! This app also needs to add an availability feature, I dislike having to tell my employer verbally my availability and having to remind them. There are many other employees and I’m sure it’s hard to keep track. I want to be able to go in the app and add my availability as well as request time off. Another feature to have is a shift switch, sometimes we as employees want to switch shifts with others and we can’t do that in the app. We have to verbally say it and when they finally do switch, it takes ADP hours to make the switch. ADP just needs more features for employees.

designperformance_and_bugscustomer_supportsecurityI already wrote this review once, but just to reiterate: the app design looks nothing like the images. Everyone I know has the new design (like in the images), whereas mine is stuck on the old, what feels like 15 year old light blue and grey design, half of the buttons don’t work, UI doesn’t scale properly, and everything is super clunky. My web version looks fine, but going through the motion of pulling the web version every time is not a good solution. I reinstalled the app multiple times, and even reseat my app from within, following the advice of the developer who responded to my previous comment. That didn’t help either. I don’t know what the problem is or why it is acting this way. The “gear” icon in the top right corner doesn’t work, and there are no other settings that would allow me to switch the design. It’s just frustrating at this point. Could it be caused by some of the security settings on my phone? Does it need certain special permissions to load the new design? I know it’s not my organization because my coworkers have the new design already, so this is just frustrating at this point. I wish I could submit a screenshot here, but I can’t. Trying to reach the support directly is also a nightmare: the AI ChatBot doesn’t let you request a real agent, and the phone it gives you just takes to another automated system. Writing these reviews seems to be the only way of getting any feedback

performance_and_bugsloginoffline_functionalitymonetizationIn the future, when I’m interviewing with prospective employers, I will be sure to ask them what payroll software they use. If it’s ADP, I will let them know I’m not interested in the position. I’ve now had 3 separate jobs that use this service and it is abundantly clear to me that they spend all their development funds on the management side of the app with no concern for the employee. Absolute train wreck. From lag to nonfunctional links; a clunky interface to nonsensical instructions, ADP is a chore to use. Each time a new company has hired me, ADP has required me to set up a new user account. It seems they’ve never considered people might change jobs. My user names are never available because I’ve already taken them. Then I get to repeatedly enter the same information over and over when onboarding. Name, address, DOB, email, phone. All entered, submit form and go to the next. Now please enter all the info again. Submit. Next form, please enter all the info again. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Then, go work for a new company, create a new user account, and go through this insanity again. I’ve created the same emergency contacts for three different accounts now. And none of this includes the disaster of every day use. Whomever is giving this app such high ratings must not be actually using it. At least not on the employee side of things. ADP makes the folks at PayChex look competent.
