advertisementsnotificationsmonetizationI love everything about this app, especially love that they changed to daily pay using the pay card. Shifts are easy to pickup as well. BUT I do have a suggestion. I work nights (10pm-6am) and it’s a little annoying to have to change the filter every time I open the app. It sets to 150 miles away and I have to change that every time as well. If that can be changed to where it keeps your filters rather than resetting every time, I would be fulfilled with the app. Or also when premium shifts pop up, if you can choose in the app to be notified about only the shifts that you want to be notified about. Ex. I work 10pm-6am, then I can set only premium shifts that pop up for that time as my notifications since the premium shifts show up aaallllll day (while I’m trying to sleep during the day).

customer_supportfeature_requestsserviceShiftkey is ok (certainly not the worst app) but I believe there are a few things they could improve on or add to make employment better. 24 hour help would be great. Considering nursing is 24 hours and clinicians like myself work overnight, the option for help after hours and weekends would be a great addition. I think there should be a phone number to contact customer service. I think the turnaround time for responses could be better. I think the fact that it’s suggested for us to “call the facility” for issues is frustrating. There should be a middleman to speak/advocate for clinicians to maintain professional boundaries and hold facilities accountable for issues they tend to procrastinate on. I think the “bidding” is misleading. There is a maximum bid per facility and it’s mostly capped at $1.50 over the suggested rate. If someone bids too high over 2 times without knowing this, you’re only able to accept the minimum suggested rate. I have found that increasing it (+) by 5-6 taps is usually the max. Instead I think each facility should post the max bid they’ll accept. I think they should cap applicants to a shift by maybe 5 and if the applicant before them cancels or is denied, you move up on the list. I think bonuses should be included for last minute shift postings. I think instant pay of shifts cancelled by facilities should be available instead of in the next weeks pay cycle. I think they should bring monthly surveys to the app.

customer_supportinstallation_and_setupperformance_and_bugsTo start, there is no work on here right now so it’s currently not worth the money and time. Second, I spent well over a month getting my credentials verified. My background check (which cost me $100 out of pocket) sat there for over a month after being done. I called/messaged many, many times. Was told to just wait for it to process each time. Many escalation cases were made. I was only contacted regarding 2 of them, neither of which addressed my issues or responded further upon me replying. Finally one day someone figured out that I didn’t receive a checkrs email which allows me to give permission for my background to be reviewed. That was it. All those calls, messages and escalations for an email that gives permission to read it. At this point my AHCA General license still said invalid. Upon many more calls/messages with the same run-around someone finally figured out it was an incorrect entry in my ssn, I accidentally out a 3 instead of a 4. This prompted another escalation as that person could not just fix it for me and many more calls. I was told I could not directly contact the people in which the escalations went to. Finally after quite a lot of calls and pleading someone got it fixed for me. Again, weeks of constant time consuming effort to get this accomplished. All of this time and aggravation just to see there is no work.
